Busy

It always takes awhile to get back into the swing of things after a hiatus from sphere making.  I have finished up spheres that were started in November and started new ones.

The Azurite I purchased in Tucson this year looks like it willl be amazing!  If all 3 turn out, it will have been well worth the high cost of the material.

In the saws, I have been cutting Fossil Coral from Indonesia.  Considering the out colors of biege, inside is orange, yellow with a hint of green in the first core.  Could be shocking.

Then there is the Colla Wood from Turkey.  This was a fluke purchase of being in the right place at the right time.  I had not seen rough for sale anywhere before!  The first piece has lots of blue and green in it.  The sphere won't be big, but I think it will be a powerhouse.

Saw cleaning planned for the week.  They are pretty bad.  I have put it off as long as I can.  Such a dirtly job.
