Candy Opal Sphere, Utah, 3.5 inches in diameter.
This is also called Bubble Opal or Bacon Opal. It comes from the Milford Opal Mine in the Thomas Mountain range near Milford Utah. It is a hydrated silica material with a hardness of 5.5 to 6.5. It is thought to be calming. There are pits in this material. Wished I could have gotten more!
